Job Details:

Our client, Pakistan Reinsurance Company Limited (PRCL), is seeking applications for the position of Chief Internal Auditor. Applicants must meet the following educational qualifications and experience:

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of five years of relevant experience in auditing, internal controls, and risk management, particularly in the public-private sector, SOEs, or public sector projects.Educational qualifications include:
• CA, CPA, ACMA, or MBA (Finance) from a reputable local or international university.
• The applicant must be a member of a recognized professional body.
• Ten years of experience in the audit, finance, or compliance sector.A Master’s degree in finance from an HEC-recognized university.

Additional Certifications (Preferred):

• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
• Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE)
• Certified Internal Control Auditor (CICA)
• Knowledge of IFRS 17 implementation is a plus.
• Experience in the insurance industry or public sector is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all internal audit activities of the company.
• Design and implement internal control procedures.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including SOEs Act 2023.
• Handle public procurement processes and ensure compliance with PPRA regulations.

Important Information:

• Age Limit: Maximum 55 years as of the last application date.
• The appointment will be on a contract basis for an initial term of two years, extendable based on satisfactory performance.
