Key Responsibilities
As a Technology Transfer Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with the Biological Process & Analytical Development (BiPAD) team to enhance pre-GMP processes.
- Guiding researchers through the early stages of manufacturing process development to ensure compliance with GMP standards.
- Introducing new scientific equipment and raw materials into the Clinical BioManufacturing Facility (CBF) to facilitate their use in GMP production.
- Training CBF staff and researchers on new techniques and equipment.
- Documenting processes by writing reports, risk assessments, and standard operating procedures to implement new methods effectively.
Qualifications Required
To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree in biological, medical, or biomanufacturing sciences.
- Relevant experience in analytical assay development and technology transfer.
- Skills in handling viruses and genetically modified organisms (GMOs).
- Strong interpersonal and management skills, with a history of supervising collaborative projects.
- Technical proficiency in laboratory techniques related to bioprocessing.
