Big Fish Recruitment, a leading Facilities Management company in Oman, is seeking a Strategic Director of Investment to oversee treasury, mergers & acquisitions (M&A), and investment functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Treasury Management

  • Develop and implement treasury strategies for optimal capital structure and liquidity.
  • Manage cash flow forecasting, working capital optimization, and banking relationships.
  • Execute debt financing under LMA format, ensuring cost efficiency.
  • Negotiate transaction terms to maximize company benefits.
  • Implement risk management strategies, including hedging when required.

Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)

  • Identify and assess strategic M&A opportunities aligned with company growth objectives.
  • Lead due diligence, including financial modeling, valuation, and risk analysis.
  • Negotiate deal structures to enhance shareholder value.
  • Coordinate with legal, tax, and operational teams for smooth integration of acquired businesses.

Investment Management

  • Develop and oversee investment portfolio strategies ensuring balance between growth and risk.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify lucrative investment opportunities.
  • Present investment proposals and updates to executive leadership.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Collaborate with legal, tax, accounting, and operations teams for seamless transaction execution.
  • Liaise with external consultants, financial advisors, and investment banks as needed.

Financial Strategies

  • Design and implement financial strategies, including tax planning and transaction structuring.

Requirements:

  • Professional certifications such as CFA preferred.
  • 12+ years of experience in finance, treasury, M&A, and investment management.
  • Strong track record in executing financial transactions (debt/equity) and managing investment portfolios.
  • Expertise in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and risk assessment.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
