About the Organization
The Irrigation Department, Government of Sindh, is responsible for managing water resources, flood control, and irrigation systems across the province. As part of its development initiatives, it is implementing the Sindh Coastal Resilience Sector Project (SCRSP) to strengthen coastal infrastructure, ensure sustainable water resource utilization, and improve livelihoods in the coastal areas of Sindh.

Available Job Position
- Position: Project Director (Irrigation Component)

- Salary Package: As per PPS-10/11 Government Standard Project Pay Scale (with transport and other benefits)
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants for Project Director Jobs 2025 under SCRSP must meet the following qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an HEC-recognized university.
- Master’s in Irrigation & Hydraulics, Water Resources Management, or Project Management preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience in project management and execution of large-scale irrigation or hydraulic projects.
- At least 3 years of experience in a senior role such as Project Director or Chief Engineer.
- Knowledge of Environmental and Social Safeguards (EMP, SMP, IEES, EIAS).
- Strong understanding of SPPRA guidelines and procurement processes (ADB procurement standards preferred).
- Excellent IT, communication, and project reporting skills.
- Fluent in English and Urdu.
- Maximum Age Limit: 63 years at the time of appointment.
- Must possess Domicile/PRC of Sindh Province.
Employment Conditions
- The selected Project Director will report directly to the Secretary, Irrigation Department, Government of Sindh.
- Civil servants may apply through the proper channel.
- Contract duration: initially two years, extendable annually based on performance up to five years or completion of the project.
- Stationed at Hyderabad with travel as required.
