Job Description

The Sindh Finance Department, Government of Sindh, invites applications from suitable candidates holding Sindh domicile (PRC) for the following contractual positions under a competitive salary package.

Positions

  1. Chief Investment Officer (CIO)
    Location: Sindh Management House (1 Position)
    Education & Experience Requirements:
    • Master’s degree in Economics, Banking, or Finance (PhD preferred) with at least 10 years of relevant experience in investment portfolio management.
    • Strong knowledge of financial markets, government securities, bonds, stocks, and mutual funds.
    • Certification as a CFA Charterholder, CA, ACCA, or ACMA will be prioritized.
    Job Responsibilities:
    • Develop investment policies, asset allocation strategies, and risk management frameworks.
    • Formulate investment strategies to maximize returns for Sindh’s investment funds within acceptable risk levels.
    • Liaise with stakeholders for research and data-driven insights.
    • Manage treasury operations and ensure efficient cash flow.
    Age Limit: Maximum 65 years.
  2. Investment Specialist
    Location: Sindh Fund Management House (2 Positions)
    Education & Experience Requirements:
    • Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or certification as CA/ACCA/ACMA from an HEC-recognized institution.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial services, treasury operations, or investment firms.
    • Proficiency in international financial reporting standards (IFRS) and SECP regulations.
    Job Responsibilities:
    • Evaluate and advise on potential investment opportunities.
    • Conduct actuarial assessments for Sindh Employee Benefit Schemes.
    • Prepare financial and statistical reports while adhering to international accounting standards.
    • Collaborate with boards and committees on investment strategies.
    Age Limit: Maximum 45 years.
