Eligibility Criteria:
The perfect candidate should:
- Be under 65 years of age by the application deadline.
- Hold a Ph.D. from a Higher Education Commission (HEC) recognized or UNESCO-listed institution.
- Have a minimum of 10 years of post-PhD experience, with a background in senior academic, research, and management leadership positions, preferably within skill-related disciplines.
- Possess a distinguished record of research and publications.
Qualification and Experience:
Applicants will be evaluated based on their academic and leadership achievements, alongside their experience in scholarship, administration, meaningful research, strategic planning, financial management, and resource development. The candidate should have a comprehensive understanding of the challenges in skills development and its connections to national and international job markets. Additionally, the candidate should be capable of forming partnerships with public, private, and development partners to innovate and mobilize resources.
Terms of Appointment:
The successful candidate will be appointed by the Chancellor for a tenure of four years. The Vice Chancellor will receive a salary package approved by the Chancellor.

- Applicants should also provide a letter of intent, no longer than 500 words, outlining their vision for strengthening and sustaining the university’s programs.
