Job Stocker presents a Gulf career opportunity in Qatar for experienced engineers. Doha Petroleum Construction Company (DOPET) is hiring a Project Engineer Mechanical/Piping to oversee and manage complex engineering projects in industrial environments. The role involves planning, designing, supervising engineering tasks, coordinating technical teams, liaising with clients and contractors, and ensuring compliance with project timelines, budgets, and safety standards.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or Process Engineering with 8–10 years of project engineering experience, ideally in the oil and gas sector. Strong knowledge of mechanical and piping engineering principles, project coordination, leadership, and communication skills. Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project or Primavera. Professional certifications (PE, APEGA, PMP) are preferred. Candidates should be familiar with industry regulations, engineering standards, and best practices.
