Role Overview

Working within the CDT, you will play a vital role in supporting sustainable chemical technologies research and development. The Coordinator will oversee a variety of responsibilities from recruitment to financial administration, fostering collaboration and ensuring smooth operation across all CDT activities.
Primary Responsibilities
- Recruitment and Admissions: Manage advertising for PhD studentships, handle inquiries, process applications, and coordinate interviews and open days.
- MRes and PhD Support: Act as the main contact for CDT inquiries, oversee training courses, and maintain accurate records.
- Director Support: Assist with administrative tasks and maintain updated records to support the CDT Director.
- Financial Administration: Track budgets, process expenses, and liaise with finance offices and industrial partners.
- Project Coordination: Organize board meetings, issue agendas, manage minutes, and address any project issues that arise.
- Events and Marketing: Coordinate events, update marketing materials, manage budgets, and communicate with stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For
An ideal candidate for the University of Bath jobs will have:
- Proven experience in financial and administrative management, particularly in a large team or center.
- Strong organizational skills, particularly in customer relations, budgeting, and coordination.
- A proactive and independent work style, with the ability to work well in a team.
- Experience managing substantial budgets (exceeding £1 million) is highly advantageous.
