Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll provide comprehensive administrative support for undergraduate medical students, primarily focusing on Primary Care. Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating Student Placements: Liaising with over 100 GP practices across the South West region to ensure students receive valuable clinical teaching experiences.
- Supporting Primary Care Recruitment: Assisting with the recruitment of GP practices and organizing clinical placements, essential to the successful delivery of the program.
- Managing Finances and Administration: Overseeing Primary Care finance and providing day-to-day line management for the Primary Care teaching team.
- Data System Development: Contributing to the ongoing development of a new placements data system to streamline operations.
- Building Professional Networks: Engaging with NHS colleagues, other university departments, and professional services staff to foster knowledge sharing and best practices.
