Position Overview
The position of Casual Operations Administrator is crucial for delivering a front-facing support service along with essential behind-the-scenes administrative support. As part of the Institute of Inner-City Learning (IICL), you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of campus activities, providing excellent customer service, and supporting various administrative functions.
Main Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:
- Maintaining Professional Communication: Establishing and maintaining effective communication channels with all clients, ensuring their needs are met promptly and efficiently.
- Reception and Helpdesk Service: Providing an effective reception service for internal and external customers, creating a welcoming environment for visitors.
- Operational Documentation: Keeping operational documentation accurate and up-to-date to support the administration processes of the campus.
- Event Administration: Assisting in the administration of events, conferences, and room bookings, including issuing function sheets and preparing venues.
- Customer Interaction: Meeting and greeting contractors and clients, fostering positive relationships and facilitating a smooth flow of operations.
- Mail and Delivery Processing: Handling all incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring that all deliveries are processed effectively.
- Administrative Support for Finance: Providing essential support for financial functions, including processing purchase orders and matching supplier invoices.
